Frequently asked questions
What is the Natural Disaster Customer Recovery Plan?
The Natural Disaster Customer Recovery Plan gives Xfinity customers the ability to go on a temporary suspend plan at no charge after their area has been impacted by a natural disaster.
What if I’m ready to resume billing?
When you’re ready, resume billing and reactivate your services with just a few clicks. Visit the Natural Disaster enrollment website anytime to update your end date. The end date must be at least one day in the future, and you cannot select today's date.
What will my bill look like on the Natural Disaster Customer Recovery Plan?
Xfinity TV, Internet, Home, Home Phone, and equipment rentals will each be $0.00/month. If you purchased equipment and are on a payment plan, you will continue to be charged. If you subscribe to platforms like Netflix or Hulu through Xfinity, you will continue to see those charges.
I am currently paying a promotional discounted rate for service. Will that rate continue when I return?
The expiration date of your promotion remains the same and will not be extended while you are on the Natural Disaster Customer Recovery Plan. If your promotion expires while you’re enrolled in this plan, you will resume billing based on the current available package and pricing.
How long can I enroll in the plan?
Every natural disaster is different, and the plan can end at any time based on recovery and response time, with a maximum of 12 months. You will be notified via email when the impacted services have been restored and when billing will resume.
