Frequently asked questions

Are there any fees for an upgrade when I have Mobile Plus?

There are no early upgrade fees when you’re on our Mobile Plus plan. You’ll even get a guaranteed discount on your new device — even if your old one is damaged or isn’t paid off.

How can I upgrade early if I don’t have Mobile Plus?

With our Mobile Select or Premium Unlimited plan, you may upgrade early if your current device payment plan is at least 50% paid off and your device is in good working condition. Just wait 60 days between upgrades.

How often can I upgrade?

Upgrade to the latest phone every year, or whenever you’re ready, for lines on our Mobile Plus plan. There’s only a 60-day waiting period between upgrades. This ensures you’ll have the best camera, battery life, and 5G performance for your daily life and travels.

Do I need to trade in a phone?

Trade in a phone you’re paying off, and we’ll help take care of the remaining balance. Plus, you’ll still get a discount on your new phone purchase.

How much of a discount will I get on my new phone?
