How do I download and set up Xfinity Call Guard?

Setup is simple and takes just a few minutes. Just download the Xfinity Call Guard app from the App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android. Once you sign in with your Xfinity ID, the app will walk you through a quick activation process to start shielding your phone against spam immediately.

What is the difference between spam blocking and premium caller ID?

Spam blocking works silently in the background to automatically handle known risky callers. Premium caller ID goes a step further by providing verified branded calling for possible scams, so you always know who is calling before you say "hello."

Can I report new spam calls through the app?

Yes. If a suspicious call does make it through, you can use the Suspicious Call Reporting feature in the Xfinity Call Guard app to flag the number. This helps our system get smarter and proactively blocks that caller from contacting you — or other Xfinity members — in the future.
