New NBC series you can’t miss this September

Bluff City Law

Premiering September 23rd at 10 PM ET on NBC, Bluff City Law is an all-new legal drama created by Dean Georgaris and Michael Aguilar. Starring Jimmy Smits as Elijah Straight and Caitlin McGee as daughter Sydney Straight, this series follows the father-daughter story of two lawyers (and their colleagues) at an elite Memphis law firm specializing in controversial civil rights cases.

Perfect Harmony

If you prefer comedy over drama, Perfect Harmony is the new show for you this season. Starring Bradley Whitford and Anna Camp, this series details the story of a former Princeton music professor who finds inspiration in some unlikely places. The series premieres on NBC on September 26th at 8 PM ET.

On September 26th at 9:30 PM ET, another new NBC series hits the airwaves. Following the life and career of Garret Modi (Kal Penn), Sunnyside details the young former-New York City councilman’s downward spiral and (hilarious yet heartwarming) return to politics as a civics teacher to immigrants seeking citizenship in the US. This comedy is sure to be as funny as it is endearing, and you don’t want to miss this on-the-nose take on what life is like for modern immigrants in America.

Returning NBC favorites

Other NBC favorites returning this fall include The Voice, This is Us, Chicago Fire, New Amsterdam, The Blacklist, and more. So, whether you’re a fan of hard-hitting dramas like This is Us or reality-competition series like The Voice, NBC has something for everyone this season.
