Movies Anywhere Comes to Xfinity

Your movies, together at last with Movies Anywhere™ — now available with Xfinity On Demand and the Xfinity Stream app. Movies Anywhere lets you conveniently sync your eligible movie purchases across participating digital retailers, including Xfinity.

Xfinity TV customers: Once you connect your Xfinity account to Movies Anywhere, your eligible movies purchased from participating Movies Anywhere digital retailers will become available through Xfinity . And guess what? Your Xfinity digital movie purchases will also be available in Movies Anywhere and through other participating synced digital retailers . It’s one library, accessible at home or on the go, at any time.

Movies Anywhere currently supports select movies from Sony Pictures Entertainment, Twentieth Century Fox Film, Universal Pictures, The Walt Disney Studios, and Warner Bros. Want to see what titles are eligible and available today? Just visit moviesanywhere.com and search for a movie title.

Connecting your Xfinity account to Movies Anywhere online

To connect your Xfinity account to Movies Anywhere, simply visit moviesanywhere.com/welcome and select “Get Started” to create your Movies Anywhere account or sign in. Once you’ve signed in to your Movies Anywhere account, click your name in the top right corner to access your account settings. Select "Manage Retailers" then “Connect” to sync with your Xfinity account (you must be an existing Xfinity TV customer). Follow the instructions from there, then you’ll be all set!

You’ll be asked for permission to allow Xfinity to share your account information with Movies Anywhere, which includes your eligible digital movie purchases.

You can only connect one Xfinity account to Movies Anywhere at a time. If you have more than one Xfinity account, you can switch Xfinity accounts connected to Movies Anywhere once every 180 days.

Connecting your Xfinity account with the Movies Anywhere app

It’s easy to connect your Xfinity account with Movies Anywhere from your smartphone or tablet. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Download the Movies Anywhere mobile app and open it
  2. Sign in to your existing Movies Anywhere account, or create a new account
  3. Navigate to “Account Settings”
  4. Select “Manage Retailers”
  5. Then, select “Xfinity” (you must be an existing Xfinity TV customer)
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your accounts – and that’s it!

Where to watch Movies Anywhere movies

You can enjoy your favorite Movies Anywhere content on Xfinity — both at home or on the go. It’s up to you to decide how you’d like to enjoy Movies Anywhere. Here are a few ways to watch:

  • On your TV with Xfinity X1 or Xfinity TV service in the Saved → My Purchases area
  • Online at xfinity.com/stream in the Saved → My Purchases area
  • On your smartphone or tablet with the Xfinity Stream app
  • Online at moviesanywhere.com
  • On your smartphone, tablet, and any connected TV that has the Movies Anywhere app

Purchasing movies through Xfinity

It’s easier than ever to buy Xfinity On Demand movies. Sometimes you can even enjoy new releases weeks before they’re available on DVD or for rental. Here’s how to get started buying movies through Xfinity On Demand.

Participating digital retailer services

“If I purchase a Movies Anywhere eligible movie through another participating digital retailer service, can I watch it on Xfinity?” The answer is yes. To do so, the movie must be available with Xfinity On Demand, eligible for Movies Anywhere and both your Xfinity account and participating retailer accounts must be connected to Movies Anywhere. The movie will be added to your Xfinity account in the Saved → My Purchases area and you’ll be able to watch all the action unfold! Please note that Movies Anywhere movies should show up within about a minute after syncing to Movies Anywhere, but some titles may take up to 24 hours to appear on your Xfinity account.

Disconnecting your Xfinity account from Movies Anywhere

If you’d like to disconnect your Xfinity account from Movies Anywhere, just follow these steps on the Movies Anywhere website or on the Movies Anywhere mobile app:

  1. Sign in to your Movies Anywhere account
  2. Select “Manage Retailers” under Account Settings
  3. Select “Disconnect” Xfinity

You can only connect one Xfinity account to Movies Anywhere at a time. If you have more than one Xfinity account, you can switch Xfinity accounts connected to Movies Anywhere once every 180 days.

After you’ve disconnected your Xfinity account from Movies Anywhere, only the titles that you’ve purchased through Xfinity will remain in your Saved → My Purchases area, subject to Xfinity’s policies and terms of use.

While your Xfinity account remains disconnected from Movies Anywhere, any Movies Anywhere eligible movies you purchase through other Movies Anywhere participating retailers will no longer be added to your Xfinity account. In addition, any purchases on Xfinity will no longer be added to your Movies Anywhere account.
